Howdy!  My name is Zach Lockhart (aka Charles).  I'm the taller one in the picture (the shorter one is my 2nd son, Ryu).  I live in Hilo, Hawai'i.  When I moved to Hilo in 2004 I started getting interested in gardening, and that led me to other ag craziness.  I'm planning to put as much as I can learn or find out about gardening here in East Hawai'i, with some probable cross-over with other areas in the world.

My hope is that beyond helping me to organize my own thoughts, that this website will help out other people trying to grow stuff here in East Hawai'i, and maybe even beyond.
